About Troop 255

Based in Montara on the beautifully rugged coastline of the San Francisco Peninsula, Boy Scout Troop 255 provides fun and exciting opportunities for boys to engage in scouting's outdoor activities while learning the timeless principles of leadership and honor. Our troop is part of the Pacific Skyline Council's Discovery District.

There are also opportunities for younger boys to get started in scouting by joining our affiliated Cub Scout Pack 255

  • Sat-Sun, Jan 10-11: Pinnacles overnight campout and hike
    • Webelos from Pack 255 will be joining us for the weekend at Pinnacles.
    • Come and help teach Scouting skills on Saturday and hike the High Peaks Trail on Sunday.

  • Saturday, February 7: "Fitz-to-the-Ritz" 10- and 20-mile hike
  • Wednesday, February 25, 7pm: Troop Meeting, Half Moon Bay Yatch Club

Troop meetings are held the first and third Wednesday of every month at the Half Moon Bay Yacht Club located in Princeton Harbor.

Full class A uniforms are required at all Troop Meetings
